13th October update 1 - restoration of gas supply

We are making good progress with restoration of gas supply. Our engineers continue to visit commercial customers, key community facilities and our vulnerable customers that require an engineer visit.  For those of you who can turn on your gas supply yourself we will let you know when it is time to do so today. We aim to have gas supply reinstated by the end of today.


If you are a customer that can self-restore you will received instructions how to do so via post. If you haven’t received the instructions of how to do this yet our website will be updated with these instructions as soon possible.


1. If you are a customer that requires an engineer visit, we know who you are and will get to you over the next couple of days. You will receive communications from us (txt, email and letter) informing you that an engineer will or has visited your property.  If you have been out or away, you should have a slip through your letter box asking you to contact us to book an engineer visit. There is a form here that you can fill out to book your visit or call us on 01534 755500. Please do not turn on your gas supply yourself.
