What is a smart home subscription?
Our smart home subscription is an easy and affordable way for you to benefit from
smart home technology. Smart home devices give you greater choice and control over
your energy use and could help you to save money. You can manage your heating and
hot water using your mobile, tablet, laptop or smart speaker so you never come home
to a cold house or heat rooms you’re not using.
Tailored to you
A subscription allows you to spread the cost of your smart home devices over 12 or 24 months (like you would with your mobile phone contract). You’ll have access to the latest smart home devices from leading brands Hive and Tado and you can tailor the devices in your subscription bundle to suit your specific needs. You can add additional devices to your subscription at any time.
Expert installation
As part of your subscription your smart home devices will be installed by our expert team. They’ll make sure they’re working properly and show you how to use them. You’ll benefit from our ongoing customer support, so if you have any issues we’ll always be on hand to help you.
Upgrade your devices
We’ll let you know when newer versions of your smart home devices are available; we’ll guarantee your upgrade, and you’ll benefit from an exclusive discount. Our team will also replace any faulty devices for free within your contract term.

Tado and Hive are leading providers of smart home technology, offering user-friendly
devices with innovative features to manage your home heating, hot water and even
more. There are several factors to consider when deciding which smart home devices
are right for you including whether you only want to control your heating or if you
want a comprehensive range of smart technology in your home.
Hive is a subsidiary of British Gas and it is a household name in the UK. Hive has an extensive smart home offering in addition to smart heating including smart lighting, security, plugs and motion sensors which we will expand into in the future. All these devices can be controlled through one app, so your home can be completely smart-enabled at the touch of a button.
Tado is lesser-known brand, but it is well established and can be installed with a vast number of boilers. Its product range revolves around smart heating and its focus is its smart thermostat and radiator devices, allowing you to control your radiators individually, all through an app.

Hive Thermostat
The Hive Thermostat has models for both combi boilers and system boilers (conventional boiler with a separate hot water tank). The thermostat works no matter who supplies your energy (gas, oil or electricity) and will work with your existing heating system.

The thermostat works no matter who supplies your energy (gas, oil or electricity) and will work with your existing heating system.

Hive Smart Radiator Valves
The Hive Radiator Valves let you manage your heating room by room so you never have to heat rooms you aren’t using. Set a schedule to get the temperature just right in every room by putting Hive Radiator Valves on all your main radiators. You can warm up one room without overheating the rest of the house.
